"Breathe," he said to me, "I'm here, you'll be okay," he said. But he doesn't get it, I don't think anyone does. To them, I'm the happy one, right? They'll be disappointed in me if I'm not like this all the time. The only way to stay this way is to hold my breath, hold my tears, hold it all back. That way, they won't know and they won't worry.
It seems as if the new kid is starting to figure me out though. I better be careful.
