"It was just a thought!" I tried to dismiss her prodding with a fluttering hand-although it might've looked a bit eager, looking at Karin's skeptical stare. I wanted to leave it just at that, but with that glint in her eyes, she'd never let it go.
I huffed out in defeat. "It's just.. these past years, I've been wondering if fighting really makes me happy."
