Alex Merlyn and her family were doomsday-preppers. Looks like it payed off. On December 31, 2014 a zombie virus broke out and everyone started coming down with a sickness. The sickness kills them, then they awake as zombies with a hunger for flesh. The family has survived moving from place to place, and they've taken others in along the way. When they meet a family of 3, Alex recognizes the son as Chase, a boy she went to school with when the outbreak started 3 years ago, they start to fall for each other, slowly but surly. Will they be able to be together? Or will they have to love in silence? Find out.
