A girl wrote a letter to the universe.


Most people don't do that, but Alice Mann does. Well, did, anyway, when she was ten. And it was only one letter, and it was kept in a keepsakes box in the attic.

And then she moved, causing her to find the letter, roll her eyes, and burn it. Apparently, that's how you're supposed to get your wishes, it happened for her, and her ten year old self had been imaginative. 


To put it simple, Alice Mann is doomed.
