Life is hard when you feel like the whole world is against you. Over time it makes you anxious and depressed. You soon start to feel like those demons have eclipsed over all the happiness in your life. It feels like nighttime all the time, but not the beautiful nighttime where the stars light up the sky and the moon is shining through your window making it look like a magical paradise. No it's the nighttime where you can't see anything, no beautiful light shining, no magical paradise. It's the one where you cover up your entire body because you see monsters in the shadows of your room. The one where you're apprehensive because of the fear of something bad happening to you. It's the one where all the demons come out to play. I was supposed to be named after the beautiful type of night. More specifically the moon. My mom said she named me that because I shined bright in the darkness through all her times when she had me. If only she knew that wouldn't be a great name for me in the future.
