Kenny Sissom is a very unlucky man. While others in his life were born into good families or luck in love, he was born into poverty and loneliness. While some were given gifts of being good-looking, strong, smart, or talented, Kenny was born with nothing. He is and has been an average loser. In fact, the only thing he is good at is being unlucky and lame. His natural naivety, belief in the greater will of mankind, and a love for people even when they abuse him, are the only things that keep him going But that all changes the day that a spaceship crash-lands in his hometown park where he works as a garbageman. What lays inside that cockpit will change his entire world, not just his life, but his understanding of the universe as well. So begins his arduous journey in an attempt to keep his precious discovery safe from both his fellow man, and the monsters of the deep darkness behind the stars.
