John Charles is a seventeen-year-old boy who lives with his father in a small cottage, deep in a thick forest, fifteen miles from their hometown. When an injured, half-conscious girl appears on their front porch of their humble and slightly-shabby home late one night, they are forced to make a decision: take the girl to the hospital and have her released home where her attacker can finish what he started or hide her until she heals? Come read and see what choice John and his father make, how the relationship between John and the girl blossoms, and most importantly, how the love of Jesus Christ can heal all. You can trust people....right?
