Jungkook is a young, handsome painter that making a living from doing commission at the capital's market. He then bumped into another noble lady at an art shop who he recognize as another amateur painter. Although their encounter doesn't starts great, they eventually became close friends after Jungkook willingly tutoring her about drawing before they end up getting romantically attached towards each other.

One day, he received a special commission from the palace in which he had to draw a portrait for the King. That's when he find out that the noble lady he has been with all this time is actually the king's legitimate wife, also known as the nation's queen.
