Alex and Bell have been best friends for as long as they could remember, they grew up with each other and wanted to be heroes. Only problem is that they are both quirkless, until the summer after they turned 10 years old when Bell found a alien watch and became a hero. This caused a rift in their friendship, especially when she got into UA's Hero course. This caused them to completely drift apart, but they still love each other and would do anything for each other. After awhile Alex got accepted into UA's General Studies class, where he met Class 1-A's Team RWBY, they became fast friends and even best friends. This made Bell extremely jealous when she heard the team met Alex and that he got into UA and he didn't tell her. Bell and Team RWBY found out that the team and Bell both liked Alex, causing a love rivalry between them.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
