Maxie's Missing Child

(This story will follow the storyline of Pokemon Omega Ruby! There will be obvious spoilers to the game! This story is for both MALE and FEMALE readers! None of the Characters in this story belong to me except for Ahri and you! You belong to yourself.)

Before Team Magma, Maxie Matsubusa was a calm geologist with a small family of his own. His wife, Ahri, and his child, (Y/N), were his pride and joy. Maxie and Ahri kept a close eye on their child, because (he/she) had inherited mysterious powers from Ahri, which first showed themselves when (Y/N) got their first Pokemon, a Buneary (he/she) named Riley. In order to keep (Y/N)'s powers from going crazy, Ahri gave (him/her) a pendant that helped keep (his/her) powers tamed. However, one day both Ahri and (Y/N) disappeared. Maxie searched for them for ten years, before finally coming to terms that his wife and child were dead. This was when Maxie decided to create a team. Team Magma was born through Maxie's grief and determination to avenge his missing family. Not only did Maxie want to create a new world for mankind, but if his family had been thrown into the ocean, at least they could have a proper burial...

Now, 16 year old (Y/N) (L/N) is able to start her own journey. (He/She) knows nothing of her real parents. Setting out on (his/her) journey, (Y/N) meets a group of thugs named Team Magma, and after battling them a few times, (he/she) meets a man who calls himself Maxie. With (his/her) Buneary Riley and (his/her) best friend Brendan, can (he/she) find the answers to (his/her) past...?
