(MxM) Phoenix has lived a long, and lonely life, and with a schedule so mundane, it could even bore the most introverted person to death. Such a life was not fit for the Angel of Fire, however...Phoenix accepts his fate and continues living unassuming in his little home, here on Earth, with his feline companion, Pepper.

But something is changing. People from all around the world, those who were practically knocking on Death's door...well, they're defying all odds and eluding the luring call of the cold beyond. Unnaturally so. Dire ailments are miraculously disappearing, and those with not much longer to live, are growing strong, and healthy.

What does this all mean? Why are normal humans denying the Angel of Death their souls?

And does the man he's slowly falling in love with, have anything to do with it?
