Set in 1955, hotel housekeeper Corinne Vineyard has been with The Rose Hotel since she was eleven years old. When Mona, a young and lively guest, enters the hotel with a spirit that entrances all and a secretive investigation, Corinne realizes she must keep a close eye on her before she digs up something The Proprietor doesn't want unveiled. As Mona becomes a target of The Proprietor, Corinne questions if what the hotel taught is right and must decide what matters to her more: Protecting Mona, who she is secretly falling in love with, or The Rose Hotel.
