Wise Girl. it's the only words percy holds from his past. he used to remember more-a full name, what the name meant to him, but it has all faded away over the year at camp jupiter and with lupa. all he knows is the life and the relationships he's discovered here, and a certain goddess took his memory, his life away, for a purpose. his past was supposed to find him, to take him home. but it was delayed, and now percy isn't sure if he wants them to come back anymore. if they did, his fragile world would shatter even more.

honor. duty. those are the words jason keeps on trying emulate and remember. he knows that hera took him from his life of responsibility, and he's not necessarily upset. he hopes to be able to find what he left behind in his quest, but yet, honor and duty were things that bound him before. he worries he'll fall back into that pattern, be sucked back into being trapped. he likes the relationships he's made, but he feels guilty, knowing that there might be something waiting back in new rome.

annabeth is tired. it's been over a year since the winter that took percy away. their voyages been delayed, even though the argo II has been done for several months now. she knows that the rest of the seven she's gathered is ready to go... and when hera gives them a chance, she'll take it.

piper wishes that she could stay at camp half-blood forever. she knows that she made a commitment to the mortal world and the quest, but she's terrified of the prospect, terrified of her powers and herself. she wishes she had more time to get silena's guidance, more time to develop the little control she has, more time to lie in the strawberry fields with her best friends.

seven teenagers, alike in so many ways, twisted and changed by the environments they were thrust in... but how permanent is that change?
