I'm Dreaming Of A World Outside...

A story i wrote for English GCSE in 2010 in prep for a mock exam.

This story is about a young girl named Violet who for some reason was locked in a Victorian asylum and she meets the Asylum owner's son.
This is loosely based on 'Asleep In The Asylum' by My Passion and the title comes from the song 'Thanks For Nothing' where the lyrics are : "There's a hole inside your head. I'm dreaming of a world outside instead...".
I thought it was a less used lyric and i thought it matched the story. Couldn't think of a better name for the villain so i thought why not steal the villain's name from the Killjoys concept. enjoy
