"Don't look back," pahayag ng isang gurong hindi ko maaninag ang mukha. Hindi ko maintindihan. Bakit? Ano bang meron sa likod? Pero ramdam ko ang mga matang nakatitig sa akin. Hindi ko alam kung bakit, pero nakakakilabot. Parang bawat balahibo sa katawan ko, nakatayo. Isang hakbang pa lang palapit sa loob ng gusali, naramdaman ko na ang bigat ng hangin. Para bang may humihila sa'kin pabalik... isang malamig na presensya na ayaw akong papasukin. Pero mahigpit ang utos-huwag lilingon.
