Outcast... it's such a simple word, but to some people it is a death sentence to the social standing in a society of stuck up, and better than thou people. To others its a blessing, these people don't need to act fake to get people to like them. They have people surrounding them that are willing to lift them up instead of break them down.
Crystal Taylor is an outcast, and is proud of it. Even though this makes her home life a living hell. Her entire family, minus her of course, depend on their higher standing in society. Her sister, Layla Taylor, makes sure that she makes Crystal's life a living hell both at home and at school, but Crystal has eight amazing friends that stand by her side.
But when tragedy strikes too close to home for Crystal and her group of friends. The outcasts are all tired of being pushed around, and it's time to stand up for what they believe in and push back.
