Sakura died. Naruto had a sworn duty to the village as Hokage and it was hers to protect her comrades, even if it meant she had to sacrifice her own life. Her days as a mother and wife were worth leaving behind if it meant they could live in a world without loss and suffering. But under some universal joke, Sakura for some reason traveled to a time before her friends, family, and even her nation were born. She discovers parts of her past that were once thought to be sealed by fate and history, becoming a part of a lineage that explained more about her abilities than she could ever imagine.
