Hope?

Dream had been suffering from both depression and PTSD since the apple incident. And Inks sudden disappearance didn't help. The only person he has left is injured, and his brother seems to hate him.

But he still has hope

(I'm not trying to victimise Dream, nor am I saying that he suffered more. But one way or the other, both of them have been in pain.)
