Magnolia

I began to walk past him hoping he wouldn't notice but then he called my name. "Magnolia" I kept walking "Maggie" I kept walking. Before I could make it much farther and hand grabbed my shoulder and turned me around.

"Magnolia I'm taking you ho--" before he could finish his eyes landed on my face. "Who did that to you?" He questioned.

I panicked "it's nothing." Tears began to well up in my eyes.

"Just tell me"

"No"

"Just get in the car I'm still taking you home" he grabbed my hand firmly and walked me over to his car opening the door and ushering me in.

"You can't take me home" I said stubbornly I was already on the verge of tears.
