My whole life just changed in one day. I was kidnapped by a scientist gone rogue. Experimented on with nanotechnology that could change the world as we know it. Not everyone survived these experiments.

My system rejected the nano treatment, and whenever this happened, the patient died. Somehow I survived. Now I have to find a way to save my friend and several others that were taken with me.

Things change when a new organization with intentions of taking all the power arises. I find that I have to work together with someone I thought was the enemy to save everybody. I learn the hard way that you can't save them all. My name is Shaun McGee and this is my story.

I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. I have contemplated it I will admit, but he would stop me before I fell even two feet. I was stuck, and no one could save me. Not even myself, my fucking weak self. His presence is demanding no matter where we are, but right now I could sense everything about him, and I try to suppress the unwanted feelings that curl right under my skin. "Firefly? About done?" He calls out and I release my hand from the guard rail not realizing that as I looked at the lights that covered the shining city with the falling fire in the background that my subconscious was thinking about how nice it would be... how relieving it would be... to just fall. True freedom. I take a step back and wrap my hands together turning around to a fully clothed unchanged man and nod once.
