Viola Dolores is The Kings personal assassin. She has spent the last ten years of her life training at the palace in the city of Alaska after she passed her Elimination day test. Violas life is already unusual as it is, but things take an unexpected turn when The King of Yola is found dead and soon after the act she is forced to go on a mission with an assassin from an another region to recover items that could help them find the killer. The story follows Viola Dolores and Tynan Kai, two assassins, sent on a life-changing mission to retrieve something that could help them discover their Kings killer. This is a fantasy/dystopian book but if you like really complicated magic systems and lots of cool powers this is not the one for you. Although if you like betrayal, heart breaking love stories and female protagonists with swords this is in fact for you. This is original work so if you see this book anywhere else please let me know.
