He doesn't really know how to communicate with the other survivors, so he often is left out and they always leave him behind, if it's a little to risky for them. Only Dwight trys to talk to him and even if he's scared, he always trys to save Jake. Jake really appreciates this and they become friends. He's glad that at least one of them seems to care about him. And he's always happy to get in a game with Dwight.
