Open doors were leading outside. The Rest of the Starry Manor stood so close to the hill that one step out of the house was enough to start the climb. The green peak was covering that widely, that I didn't even notice it was almost dusk. But I didn't want to leave Miss W. that early. I felt she had something to say. The woman stepped outside and started climbing up the hill. It was the one with the green stone on the top. Her heels weren't drowning in the grass, her hair and clothes weren't moved by the wind. She was moving with such grace as if she had done that at least a million times. Well, maybe she had.She put the telescope back under the moss. For a while, we were staring at the sky together. Miss W.' eyes were sad, like she was missing something she never had. As if those stars knew something no one else did.
-There's wisdom in stars, Alma. - she said - They are the most experienced creatures in the whole universe. They know what was, what is and can predict what will be.
-You're talking about them like they were living beings. - I noticed.
-Because they are alive.

Ranked #1 on Wattpad for "Cosmic Horror" and "Thought-provoking" Categories " When Rosie was younger, she'd always ask me why I spend so much time out in the garden. It wasn't until recently that I thought that she'd be able to understand, but now that she's gotten a bit older, she gets it. " Ariel then looks at Rosie and politely asks her a question. " Rosie, may I see the gift that Tom brought you? " " Sure mama! " Rosie says as she hands Ariel the golden rose and Ariel admires the beauty of the rose and the craftsmanship that it took to make it as detailed as it is. Ariel then speaks from the heart as she holds Rosie's gift in her hands. " The reason why I've cultivated Roses all my life is because of how much I love them and what they mean to me... I told Rosie that for someone to really love roses, their love and admiration for them would have to outweigh the fear of getting pricked by their thorns. To truly love a rose would be to accept the rose for everything that it is, thorns and all, and the people who can do that often share a similar outlook for the people that they love as well. They accept the people that they love for everything they are, regardless of whether those people have thorns... So in my eyes, a person who can truly love and admire roses is a person who understands what love really means. [BOOK TWO] "Anniversaries to some are like counting the years spent doing something great, years spent together, or years spent alive." I started slowly, voice dropping to a drawl as I peeked cautiously out of my bedroom blinds, scanning the road to see if there was a cloaked figure watching my every movement. "I view anniversaries as counting down the days till death finds me." *** After the events of her wonderfully packed 21st birthday, Addison was ready to retire back into her home and never again see the light of day. It wasn't a totally bad idea. After all, her family's generations-old riches was enough to tide her over until the day her past finally catches on, and until that day finally arrives, she had no intention to step out of her front door. And to think the last time she did, she ended up in the game of cat and mouse with a cynical hooded spirit that wanted her dead and her soul in a glass bottle for his own little sadistic collection. Silence had followed the whole year after the disastrous party. For nearly 365 days, Addison had no trouble with unwanted evil celestial beings lurking around her house in an attempt to take her soul away with a world-stopping kiss. However, the silence was too often, and the world had become too quiet. Reason being? Apparently, Death's new move was to kidnap her best friend Minnie Hoover in an attempt to bait her down to hell itself. Life became much quieter without one-third of her little clique. And so Addison ventured away from the safety of her home, in search of her best friend. After all, silence creeps the heart just as death does, and the world was now deadly silent. ***** Highest Rank Fantasy: #9 Highest Rank Teen Fiction: #77

A world where Scott and Stiles have female versions of them selves that they don't know exist. What happens when the duos meet up? (Mature for violence, intense emotional themes, and language) ***Sneak Peak*** Winnie came back handing her friend the extra apple she always got her in exchange for the extra water. As Sky took the apple it started to sizzle. Sky dropped it startled and the girls looked at each other confused. "Okay what the fuck," Winnie asked. Sky just poked the apple again and it still heated up the fruit just not to the same extent as before. "Skyler, why is your skin burning fruit and mine isn't," Winnie asked in a hushed whisper. "How the fuck should I know," Skyler asked her friend. She was starting question if this was all just a weird dream. It had to be. Right? Winnie was now trying to poke the apple to see if it would react to her the same way before nudging it to her friend and watching it heat up a little before Skyler pulled her hand away. "Winnie," she scolded really starting to freak out. "What? It was for science purposes. Multiple trials," Winnie responded. "What the hell is happening to me," Sky asked worried. "Maybe you have super powers," Winnie proposed. "Maybe I'm dying from some weird chemical reaction," Skyler pointed out. "Always so negative. Try to look on the up side sometimes," Winnie teased. "What if I'm dying," Skyler asked worried. "It was nice knowing you," Winnie said jokingly. That wasn't what the girl needed to hear. "Look," Winnie interjected realizing she wasn't helping, "You aren't dying. We can google it and find out what's going on I'm sure there's a reason." Sky nodded quietly. She didn't know what else to do. Something was wrong with her. Something in her said it had to do with that beast they saw.

In a world dominated by werewolves, Odette leads a simple, human life until what was supposed to be the best day of her life, her wedding day, takes a nightmarish turn. Luca, a powerful world-leader and Alpha, claims her as his mate, which forces her into a desperate fight for her freedom. Now on the run, Odette encounters challenges that will test her wit and strength. Will she surrender to the relentless pursuit, or fight back? ~~~ I round the corner to see a group of freakishly-tall and handsome men. There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."

Power and money didn't really interest Serena, instead she wished for a life of peace and safety. Barely able to afford a bus pass, it was mere chance that she saw a man in handcuffs being escorted by police. And he saw her. Several groups wanted to control him to suit their own purposes, but he could not be controlled by force. He only wanted one thing - and it was her. I will be your heart, if you will be my shield. * * * Sneak Peek * * * I pitied the man, although with that many cops around him, he was likely quite dangerous. Who needed 30 police officers to supervise one guy who was likely in handcuffs and leg shackles? I absentmindedly watched the man walk down the gauntlet between the rows of officers. It was as if I couldn't look away. He paused and looked around. His brilliant glowing blue eyes seemed to meet mine across the vast distance. I couldn't even blink as his eyes seemed to hold mine. The trees of a park broke our locked gaze as the bus kept on driving. I took a deep breath, suddenly realizing that I had stopped breathing the moment our eyes had met. I had never seen such blue eyes before - and they glowed! A shiver ran through me. I had been too far away to even determine the color of the police officers' hair, let alone know the color of the man's eyes. My eyes watched the trees, hoping for a break in them so I could see the man again. I had no such luck. --------------------------------------------------- Please note that this story has nothing to do with any of my other stories. They met for the right reasons but at the wrong time. She was just about to graduate from college, and he was already a successful CEO/Businessman who is ten years her senior. A city love like no other. Enter the world of Alecx and Tristan, brought together by fate, only to be separated by unexpected circumstances. Will there be a second chance for them when they meet again 9 years later? A story about chasing dreams, friendship and love.... "A love story that will make you swoon. Definitely a fun, entertaining and feel-good read. " - A Reader's Comment Excerpts: 1) I saw her hug one of the guys in that department and kissed him on the cheek. I don't really deal a lot with our employees. I am mostly either inside my office or in the boardroom conducting meetings, so I do not even know who this guy she is smitten with. Just seeing her do that caused a twinge of jealousy inside me. I barely know this girl and yet, she is making me feel something I have not felt before. 2) I gave him a dagger look and tried to get away from his hold, but he did not let me. Instead, he put both his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. Our faces are just inches away from each other. He was looking at me intently. My heart is beating so fast. I feel like I am going to melt from his gaze. "I am just messing with you. I am sorry. Forget about what I said. Just dance with me. For old time's sake." He smiled at me. I continued to look him straight in the eyes. "Why did I ever leave this amazing man in front of me?" I asked myself regretfully. I set aside all my inhibitions and placed both my arms around his neck. Even just for tonight, I will enjoy this moment. I rested my head on his shoulder and nuzzled my face on his neck. I hope we can stay like this forever.
