[WRITTEN FOR SEKAI'S JULY '21 SHORT STORY COMPETITION] - 'Write about a character who is lost.'

Writing is not just stringing sentences together... it is trial and error, distractions, and hyperfixating on one word until it stops looking like a word. There is nothing more tedious than going back and forth, struggling to reach a stupid word count. 

We've all been there and we'll continue to be there. After all, it's what we love doing.

The lower word limit was 1500. This story is exactly 1501 words long.

Novas dream has always been to open a bakery of her very own. Well now that she's moved to Galax, Georgia she is living that dream. She's got a lot of work to do on the shop before that happens though. One day as she's working she meets Eleanor, the niece of the president of the local MC. The Notorious Silencers.
