The Mikaelsons have not been to New Orleans in over 300 years but this time they have a pregnant werewolf called Hayley Marshall, carrying Klaus's baby. Klaus wants nothing to do with it but his siblings Elijah and Rebekah think this could be his redemption. When they meet up with an old friend of theirs, Marcel Gerard he thinks that Hayley should stay at the compound. But when they see a portrait of a woman, they ask Marcel and it's his older sister Kate Gerard who is the Original Tribrid. When Marcel calls her she is already on her way home from a meeting with the witches and vampires.
