L/N had been a Major during the Great War, where she gave her life holding off an Army of Mistral Soldiers from taking a bridge that lead directly to the Capital of Mantle. Her should was sent to hell when her body was tossed into the river, and the memorial her Regiment had left in her honor was desecrated.
