The alarms and a voice echoed through the streets as we ran back to the orphanage, though I was too frightened to make out all the words being said. Occasionally I heard the words virus, adults, no cure and that was all I needed to know....to know that the world was ending.

Ferid will be a main love interest later in the story but there will be hints of other characters as love interests too
