Just a Heads up; Even though i'm still writing it this story is under heavy renovation. :)))

When issues at home worsen for Travis, he catches Sal's attention. Sal becomes intrigued, and feels he should both help and figure out what's happening to his bully. Simple and wholesome curiosity pulls Sal further in than he thought was possible. The others must learn to welcome Travis with little explanation; And Travis must learn to welcome others. Instead of solving simple issues for another, Sal finds his own pain and trauma and must come to terms. This story is the rising and maturing of Travis and Sal.

Travis grew up knowing a couple things. One of those things was that being gay was a sin, and that if you were gay, or anything like that, you're going to hell. Or at least, that's what he was told. But after an incident with Sal in the boys washroom, Travis starts to think that he might have been wrong the whole time. Just a quick warning, this is a pretty heavy story and contains things like abuse (both verbal and physical), drug use, suicidal thoughts and attempts, slurs and swearing. This story is about a boy. A boy with blonde hair, his name is travis. Travis never belived that he was able to feel safe. To have a home that made him feel happy and wanted. He never had that special home. Even from childhood he didnt have it good, his father got worse over the years and the forced cristianity took a tole on the boy. Soon his last year of highschool, he met a boy. A boy who would forever change him. Travis met the boy and was a total nunce to him, soon though he would begin to question everything. Why he thought about him so much. Why he wanted to hug him, why he dreamt about kissing him. Why everything reminded him of sal. But as that all happened, he tried to pray and push it down. He tried to take it out on himself. Tried to take it out on sal. He tried to get sal away and distance himself and couldn't understand why the feelings only got stronger. He would soon find out and learn how to exept his sexuality. Though his father was in the way of that being fully successful.. Death Lingering
Sal screamed so loudly that it hurt Travis's ears and echoed in his head for several minutes after it had finished. The sound was unlike anything he'd ever heard on TV, unlike anything he'd ever made when his father beat him. It was visceral, primal. Filled with the most basic of instinct from any living thing: fear. A kind of it that was so deep, it lacerated Sal's vocal cords as it tore through his stomach and out of his throat, loud enough to reach heaven, desperate enough to be a prayer. It was the sound of death. ========== Sal can't find his anxiety medication on the fourth of July. He subsequently proceeds to have one of the worst breakdowns he's ever had in Nockfell, directly in front of Travis Phelps.
