Perceus Jackson is a merman. His father is Neptune P. Jackson (guess what the 'p' stands for), the king of the merpeople, and he doesn't approve of Percy watching human ships. But of course, because Percy is every stereotypical fairy-tail mermaid that has ever existed, he ignores his father and does it anyways. While he is watching a large ship, he discovers a young mermaid who is doing the exact same thing. She turns out to be a servant at his fathers castle, and utterly despises him, but just as they come to an agreement on keeping the fact they had been there a secret, they get captured by the people on the ship, which turns out to be a pirate ship. Percy is very confused because the mermaid seems to already be familiar with the pirates on the ship. What will happen to the young merpeople? What is the servant girl's connection to the pirates? When will I finally get to the story? You are about to find out...
