Desperate (OfMonstersAndUs)

For over a decade, monsters have ruled the lands. They kill humans for the joy of it, destroy their food/herb supply, and spread deadly diseases. No one had dared to stop these mighty beasts for fear of what might happen.

Until now...

Two misfit, clueless child bestfriends decide that enough is enough and the monsters must be stopped. The only problem is, Axel's father is the one controlling it all.

The question isn't would he betray his father, but would he risk everything to, not only save his bestfriend, but every single human in the world?
