Air, she needed air.
Kara convulsed violently as her body desperately fought as it remembered how to breathe. Coughing violently, she felt around for the emergency release for her pod. Sensing her distress the pod silently hissed its lid open and Kara stumbled onto the floor, greedily gulping in the air surrounding her as she rested on her knees and elbows.

"Wait, how is there gravity?" Kara belatedly thought as her brain slowly started working again.
She looked up and saw 4 people in mismatched clothes in a sort of semi-circle, and they all held weapons aimed at her...

Kara Smith was born in the year 2184, and joined Project Icarus as a volunteer colonist, being put into Cryosleep in 2213. But when she wakes up several hundred years after she was supposed too, in a galaxy most definativly not the one she went to sleep in, she is quite litterally, a woman out of time...

While the rest of the Andromeda Galaxy thrived with interplanetary travel; civilizations sharing knowledge across the stars-Ivis Ryoko's homeplanet, Neurothon, remained stubbornly grounded in isolation, and refused to look beyond its own atmosphere. For Ivis, each sunrise brought another day of impossible choices. In a society where violence wasn't just common, but celebrated, she learned the bitter truth about survival: sometimes staying alive meant staining your hands with the very brutality you despised. Every scar she bore told a story of resistance, of moments when she was forced to become what she hated most just to live to see another dawn. But while her people seemed content in their savage traditions, Ivis dreamed of something more than the endless cycle of violence. Armed with determination and scraps of forbidden knowledge, Ivis spent two years secretly constructing a transmitter-hoping to send out some sort of distress signal to escape the planet she had been trapped in. By some miracle, she managed to get it working, for about... thirty seconds. And at first, those thirty seconds seemed useless. Those two years seemed useless. And Ivis felt hopeless. That was until a spaceship landed in the forests near her home. Her way out. For the first time ever, escape felt tangible-real enough to touch. There was just... one small problem. In a moment of instinct honed by years of survival on Neurothon, she might have already shot the supposed pilot with an arrow.

When Mandy loses her job, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom – until her plane is swallowed by a strange storm that sends her and everyone else on board 10,000 years into the future. At first, she thinks the scary world is nothing more than a bad dream. The war-torn Earth is unrecognizable. Black fog blocks the sun, and the oceans are dry. Even worse: the planet is inhabited by half-human, half-alien creatures dying from a mysterious disease. Horrified at the thought of spending her life here, she clings to the knowledge that there’s one man who can open the star gate to send her home. As the Naki prince who controls the star gate, Akkadi gets first choice of any human female that makes her way through the star gate. Only by breeding with purebred humans from the past can his race hope to remain immune to the disease and hopefully, develop an eventual cure. With shrinking resources and a raging battle for the human planet, dutiful, commanding Akkadi is less than thrilled at the idea of trying to figure out Mandy, a woman he views as wild with neither discipline nor respect for someone in his position. He’s ready to write her off, when she offers him something too tempting to resist: her body for the chance to convince him by any means possible to send her home. Neither intends for the arrangement to be permanent or to fall for the other. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.

Thousands of years ago, the great and powerful city of Atlantis existed in all its full glory on Earth. Today, Atlantis is but a historical ghost and the only remnant of that myth of a lost nation is a girl called Ava, who walks silently among the people of present-day Earth; an enigma, a curse. For Ava Kinski has an undiscovered role in the sullen events that has captured the planet - the arrival of the same unknown invaders from the heavens that destroyed Atlantis a long, long time ago... Caught in the seemingly uncanny events is a Alec Archer and his friends; their worlds colliding with Ava, as they are unknowingly thrust in a quest for the truth that will take them to the legend that is Atlantis and to worlds away in time and space, in a magical universe they never knew existed as they are embroiled in a sinister plot of epic proportions. And the question they all have to ask - is Ava a friend or foe? This is the untold story of Atlantis. Please note this work is raw and unedited so sorry for the many mistakes.
