In an alternate universe (because this is ghastly and one would hope this all never happens) Emerson Barrett is just a lonely man. Often having no company about, he searches for salvation from the wicked world around him; filling sketchbooks with his art as an escape. The starving artist, when in need of a change in scenery, often goes to the forest to sit atop his favourite tree. This tree is much different from the others, and as time passes by, the two age together.. some memories together are a tad fuzzy, but what isn't when your stuck in that place...?

Sebastian was standing then. His height was impressive. She stumbled back with his nearness. He laughed, shaking his head. He really did find her to be quite amusing. Her nervousness made her all the more interesting. "Did you not miss me, Madsy?" Sebastian teased. "Because I most definitely missed you." Madeline Hunter is abandoned after graduation by her best and only friend Nolan Sinclair. Upon his leaving, her mind is flooded with visions from her past. With no one left to distract her from the miserable memories, she is visited by an old, slightly invisible friend that she hadn't thought about in years.
