Xingqiu told chongyun about a new demon sighting that's got a village scared. they both go investigate only to get something way worse. the demon seriously injures Chongyun to where Xingqiu grabs chongyun and flees. a few days pass and Chongyun awakens which Xingqiu was happy to know about. until he finds out that Chongyun has lost all his memories of Xingqiu. and how close friends they where. which in turn Xingqiu takes advantage of this and tells him they are lovers. but soon Xingqiu regrets his actions.
