In the fantastical kingdom of Adrith, the King employs individuals into being his royal guards called: The Guardsmen. This adventure follows a group of new guardsmen that must power through a variety overwhelming challenges, deaths, and battles between demons both within and externally. While some parts are a lot more obvious than others, I drew inspiration from: Attack on Titan, Bleach, Naruto, Hitman Reborn, HunterxHunter, Blood-C, Kuroko's Basketball, Undertale, and The Legend of Korra. Life ended quietly. Rebirth? Not so much. I'd lived a perfectly normal nerd-life: a family, a career, too many hobbies, and a purse full of "just-in-case" items. Well, just when I thought my life couldn't get any crazier, guess what? It got crazier. Last time we met, I was trying to save myself and this guy from this malicious spirit who wouldn't leave him alone and was trying to kill him. I thought that was bad and stress inducing. I'm also learning more about the "supernatural world," where apparently, it's where all the ghouls exist and thrive in. And guess what else? I'm going to have to go to school with them. Fantastic. There's a part of me excited, though the larger part is scared to death. Chronicles of Magic: A VRMMORPG Story
If you like things such as Overloard, SAO, or Reincarnated as a Slime, then this might be right up your alley. If you like stories where you follow the antagonist, this definitely is up your alley. The first part of this is a condensed version of half the events of how Sky began to gain power. The next part (starting at MC Meets MC) will be the isekai! Of course there's an isekai and will contain the meat of the story for awhile and takes on a new perspective through Lyra. Sky's story returns later (starting at Back To CoM: Sky's Journey Continues). I will eventually rewrite and edit this story and separate it into 2 separate self-contained books. Thus, multiple guilds were formed to increase the risk and gain a mountain of rewards. [I made this story for a fallen brother of mine.
