Ryden is a perfectly normal boy.

Or so he thinks.

He goes to school, eats, sleeps, and does whatever his mother tells him to do. 

Until the day, when he finds a letter addressed to him, sitting regally on his desk. It calls to him, urging him to open it, but his mother warns otherwise.

Finally, he sets aside his apprehension, and opens the manila envelope.

A promise of danger, adventure, and revelation lay inside.
