Paxton Hayes was a relatively normal guy. He had a nice home, a best friend for life, and even the run of the mill daddy abandonment issues. Then one night, he walks into a pub and is nearly killed by a vampire bitch named Alice. Turns out he's not a normal human at all. In fact, he's the farthest thing from it. Suddenly thrown into a world of supernatural creatures and people with super powers, Paxton teams with his best friend who is secretly a telepath, a pyromaniac and his "ice bitch" sister, a vampire/werewolf hybrid who may or may not be on steroids, a witch that he's pretty sure is in love with his adoptive father, and a cynical werewolf that he might have feelings for. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.
