Many years after the Chaos Unhingement event and the horrors that transpired during that period, a girl from outside the city is kidnapped and taken into the city, forced into a life she never wanted. Now, after killing in self-defense, she's in hot water, and she's caught the world's eye by accident. With the growing danger of her own people entering a war and her being a person of interest herself, will she be able to get home before it's too late?

But she's not the only one going through it. A young man living a terrible life crosses paths with her and quickly learns that what he's about to go through is going to be infinitely worse than everything he's endured before. Can he learn to cope, or is his world just gonna fall apart before his eyes?
