Luz Noceda is Hexside High's all time athlete. she went from nerdy kid in middle school to being the most popular girl in Bonesborough. she could get anyone and anything she wanted. everyone fell for her besides a very select few people. although she had everyone at her disposal, one girl in particular caught her eye. 

Amity Blight is the cheer captain of Hexside High. in middle school she made a bet with the twins, which she lost. out of that bet she had to join the cheer team her freshman year and stay in it till she graduated. she was also popular, but only for academics and family. she doesn't really like Luz and doesn't understand why anyone would be on their knees for her. she just wanted to graduate and move out with the twins as soon as possible.

Luz has went to camp and when she came back she didn't act any different, she still didn't get one friend so her mother (Camila) changed. She got aggressive/abusive with Luz and school doesn't help, the second day of school comes and before Luz leaves she runs away and finds a house. But Luz has changed, she was mean, quiet, hostile and had mad trust and anger issues she also developed Hemophobia (fear of blood) and Traumatophobia (fear of having an injury).
