Natasha has her birthday tomorrow, and she has invited her friend Damiana to accompany her to the Courtyard- A place where magic allows you to see the past, the present, and the future of a relationship; it can be any sort of relationship: Mothers and children, romance, a new friendship, or an old one. The only stipulation is that one of the people in the courtyard has to have it be their 16th birthday.
This means it is a great honor, even if Damiana doesn't wish to go- which they don't- So Dami goes to the Courtyards.
As soon as something slightly unwanted happens Natasha goes and breaks one of the major rules regarding the courtyards, causing them to need to fix the mistakes so they don't get in trouble.

Welcome to Evergreen
During winter break, a retreat welcomes 20 students from a nearby city school into Evergreen, a small friendly mountain town known for it's scenic views and cozy inns sought after for the vacation vibe. Welcomed to take part in a retreat promoting mindfulness and self-growth, the students on this trip find this as the opportunity to do everything but that. On a hike, a group of students wander out to a nearby grotto where they discover a plethora of flowers. Entranced by their beauty, they decide to take some back with them. Within hours of this event, one of their chaperones falls ill. She becomes extremely irritable and erratic with everyone she encounters in town. Soon enough, other townspeople begin to fall ill with similar symptoms and this sends a wave of panic over the town and its inhabitants. The local sheriff decides to place a quarantine on the town to avoid new people from becoming affected and preventing those who are ill from leaving and possibly spreading the mysterious malady. It seems no one from the outside world is aware of what is happening and because people are succumbing to this mysterious ailment, there is no one making it down the mountain safe enough to reach someone for help. In the news, a huge storm is forecasted, thus the kids must decide whether to forge their potential fate or take the trip down.
