In the midst of her family's best kept secret being plastered amongst the tabloids, Astoria Damaris came to realize 3 things that she quickly grew to resent.

The first being that London's unruly weather has made it rather difficult to wear the new Dior skirts that she had been waiting to show off all spring. She quite liked her title as 'IT girl' but after their haste move to Europe, she found it quite strenuous to upkeep it due to the dull climate.

Secondly, Astoria Damaris realized that it was becoming rather tiresome to be Astoria Damaris. Dead older sister, consistent lack of privacy, and irreparable mommy issues- Add a sordid family scandal to that, and she'd begin to question whether she'd prefer living an impoverished lifestyle. But then she's remember how dearly she adored her shoe collection and scrap the whole idea.

Lastly, british boys have proved to being a dangerous sub-species. With those annoyingly hot accents and their perpetual charm, attending a school filled to the rim with them was a dire mistake. So, Astoria vowed to stay away from them- Especially ones with captivating blue eyes, dimpled smiles that are kept under wraps, and go by the name Grayson King.

Unfortunately, the last vow she made to herself lasted about a week, when she promised to control her vapid shopping addiction. It was going well until Chanel dropped their winter collection, and she just had to get her hands on a masterfully curated fur coat.

Hopefully, icy blue eyes were less appealing to her than a one-of-a-kind fur coat.
