This is a fanficiton of how The Vampire Diaries show could have gone if Damon and Elena hadn't ended up married and if the Heretics had been comprised of some of the best known real life villains in history rather than a group of random siphoners led by an ancient, random, unknown, bastard of a vampire. Bonnie and Damon are the main focus of the story.
