Picnic In the Street

A girl starts dating a boy and everything is perfect. They are driving to the beach until a tragedy reveals something devastating about the both of them. He can not understand her and writes off her reaction off as insanity.
The boy represents the way society treats and views people struggling with their mental health. The girl represents tortured people in denial due to trauma, accepting things with a mask of toxic positivity instead of ingesting reality .
