Story Of a Princess (Just Kit. No, really)

Well, I'm fairly bad at descriptions, but here goes...

(I started writing this book for a younger friend of mine, and she wanted sappy stuff, so...)

The name isn't really a good indicator of the story, but you know those books about contract relationships? Marriage alliances and the like? Well I thought it would be interesting to poke a little fun at those books(not that I don't like them, because when they are done well I LOVE them).

Kit is a Princess, the second born of a very powerful, very influential kingdom. She feels slightly useless, slightly chained to her position, and slightly used, because no one cares about her for her, they care about her position and her influence.
So, she leaves. And becomes a sort of 'Hero of the people' and sort of a straight up bandit/outlaw.
Two years later, she is arrested and put in a holding cell. She remains there for a short time, and then the crown prince of the kingdom she's in(sorry, I'm not giving kingdom names in the description...) has a meeting with her(it's nothing awful! I promise!), and offers her a way out that gives her the chance to use his money and image for good and keeps him from having his head cut off. She of course spots more than one flaw in his offer and in his explanations, and makes sure that she's explored the path entrance as best she can, and-

Just read the book. While I'm sure I'll have to edit it again, and again, it's fun, and I'm *trying* to inject humor into it. Though the subtleties may or may not be too subtle...
So if you've got a bit of time, it's a story I enjoy writing, and I hope at least one person out there will like it too.
