A Soulmate's Battlecry

Soulmates where supposed to be one of the reasons as to why the Mayans and Nordic Gods came to peace on earth. But a bloody war happened and it drastically changed them forever. Or at least that was until the daughter of the Mayan's chief, Izel Xiu, got herself trapped in an interesting situation where her soulmate is someone she wasn't expecting. Not only that, but she herself has something hidden that only the past itself can tell. What would Izel and her soulmate do when they encounter what it looks like a more modern and present bloody war? Would they discover the past that is hidden within them? or will they be destroyed by the Gods themselves? Only the past will know....
