Marinette, or her water name, Aquabug, was a half human and half mermaid. She isn't a normal human, nor a normal mermaid. She's a species of both.
Her father was related to the king of the ocean, and was a merman. But he was married to Sabine Cheng, a normal human, but she had to run her bakery in the world of Earth, for her to sustain herself. Marinette is sent to live with her mother for a few years, and then will return to her father, because her life is not safe on the Earth.
But now, she has a secret life as a superheroine, with her partner, who she can't disappoint.
How can she live her triple lives?
