"Be my saviour" the words were but a whisper on his lips before there was no trace of them at all. He fell to the ground and all that I could feel was the realisation that he was right. I needed to be his saviour and everyone's.

"Please wake up." I said as I held his hand. I looked for any sign of response; a movement beneath an eyelid, a twitch of a finger. Nothing. He was just... blank. I felt the tears come. I played with his hand in mine; traced invisible messages in his palm with my finger, hoping just maybe he'd magically be able to get them. Tears started falling down my cheeks. I held his hand gently against my lips. Tears dropped on his fingers until they were as wet as my eyes. I rested my head on his limp hand. "I told you I needed you to stay."
