Kurt Hummel was about to tackle the "Duet Competition" held by McKinley's Glee club when Mr. Schue arbitrarily paired him with the coldest boy in the whole club, Blaine Anderson. He clearly hated the way he was "dragged" to be with Mr. Without Words such as Blaine but as they got closer, Kurt got to discover something about this boy that nobody had ever known before.
