Mayu Takashima's life couldn't be any more mundane. Being sixteen, she has never had a boyfriend; nor does she have many friends. Although shy and kind, Mayu is constantly teased due to her genius and outdated wardrobe outfits. 
However, somehow two magical beings appear to help the poor girl out. No one can see them except for Mayu. There's Cupid/ Benji and her guardian angel Nozomu. Benji is a rouge-like person who is more like a 'devil' than some lovely angel. Nozomu is a caring and gentle ideal angel who always keeps an eye out on Mayu to protect her.
Suddenly, the two team up in order to help Mayu understand the beauty within her and have her confess to Yuta Manabe, a boy she has loved since the third grade.
