When Kuroko Tetsuya, a young farmer's boy far away from the populated town, heads out to help the other people during a drought, he comes across a starving child in need. After helping him, the boy disappeared and Kuroko never thought he would meet him again...
Now, years later, the ruling family of the land has adopted a new heir for the position as king and when this new, mysterious addition, shortly later, finally takes the throne; he throws a celebration for his coronation as king.
Kuroko, as well as most of the others of the land are invited, but only Kuroko will have his own fateful night when he finally meets the new King...
