Sidney pulled her soft, blue blanket closer around herself, shivering in fear. She turned around and looked out the window behind her at the lonely afternoon outside. The tree's in the yard looked too alive, like they weren't actually tree's, but someone watching her. Big, tall with their branches reaching out for her, trying to grab her and pull her down into the ground in which her two nightmares laid awake, waking for the first time in three years, coming back to continue what they did not finish the first time they tried.
